Caroline (Tutor)

I am a dedicated and conscientious teacher who has achieved excellent results in French and German with pupils over many years. As an experienced teacher and parent of children at school and university, I understand the importance of helping students develop a liking of the subject and a desire to do well. I have developed a wealth of material over the years which I use to stimulate and improve students' understanding of French and German and which I am continually adapting and expanding to reflect changes in syllabus and current teaching methods. I am acutely aware of the expectations of examiners at GCSE and prepare students to achieve their personal best.

Availability: I am available by prior arrangement to tutor on selected evenings and at weekends during term-time and at additional mutually convenient times during school holidays.

Experience: I have in excess of 20 years of experience as a successful Modern Foreign Languages schoolteacher teaching French and German to pupils aged 11 to 18. I am currently teaching both languages in a school with Language College status and International School status.

Qualifications: I am a graduate, BA (Hons), from the University of Bristol in French with German. I received my postgraduate teaching certificate, PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages, from Exeter University.
