Christine (Tutor)

I am a friendly, enthusiastic approachable teacher with a lot of experience in both private settings and in state schools.I have taught key stages one, two and three. This has enabled me to achieve a good understanding of the development of the curriculum in areas such as English and Maths, which I have taught at KS3 in school and KS4 as a tutor.
I have been employed by Wigan Borough tutoring service to enhance GCSE grades. I have also worked for Home and Hospital teaching service in the borough, teaching disaffected and excluded children, supporting them and their families in transition back to school. I have a diploma in Special Needs teaching (Dyslexia) very useful for teaching literacy and numeracy. I have a lot of experience in teaching adults with learning and organisational difficulties, helping them to communicate their ideas as succinctly as possible. Also I have a second degree in modern languages from London University.
