Lesson Information: A fully structured eight week course covering the essential skills needed for learning to draw. Over the eight weeks we cover the essential technical areas that are integral to producing good drawings. During the first half of the course we will take an introductory look at each area and in the second half we will revisit them to review and strengthen the skills learned so far. Each week we will combine a technical area such as perspective or composition, with a popular subject matter such as still life or the human figure. We will also explore the benefits of different materials and will learn how to assess our own work in order to make improvements. This course is designed for people who have no experience in drawing or haven't picked up a pencil since school. Class sizes will be no larger than three people giving the highest possible level of individual attention. If you want to know how to draw but feel too scared or too shy this is the course for you.
