Information about Joy

As a Maths Scholar and having recently finished studying A levels and tutoring from then until present, I am always updated with the curriculum. It allows me to relate to my pupils a lot more easily and understanding any issues they may have. I can make their learning style adaptable to the level in which they are required to be learning at. I feel that I can encourage a pupil to bring more of their abilities out of themselves by having a strong foundation in the basics first.
I am a graduate in Mathematics and Sports Science with an average of a 2.1 with a 1st in the mathematics side of my degree.
I have also been working in a school teaching Maths where I`ve gained a lot more experience with the pedagogy of teaching. I`ve also gained experience in dealing with a variety of pupils, making more versatile as a tutor.

Availability: I am available on weekends

We have found Joy, reliable, fun and relevant.

As a result of his clear knowledgeable teaching we are all now able to play a game of chess.

He continues to show us key strategies of the game with the hope that we will be more than just players but masters at this awesome game.

Our son looks forward to his tutoring.

Joy is an excellent tutor for my 9 year old daughter, in a short time he has made a great difference to her understanding of maths and to her confidence, so much so she has gone up to the top set.

Joy has been tutoring maths to my grandson for a few weeks. He is very reliable, diligent, prepared and engages well with the student. He assesses where the student is at and delivers his lessons accordingly, which is a very good approach.
As a young man he is an excellent role model for young boys. Thank you joy
