I graduated in July 2009 with a 2.1 honours degree in History from the University of Leicester. Since then I have worked as a Team Manager for Boots the Chemist, and now work for property company MITIE as a Bid Writer.
I am friendly, approachable and patient. I understand the frustration of some pupils who find it harder to retain information, and also those who are excelling at school and need further challenges.

I like to meet with the potential tutee as this enables me to gauge them and what they would like to achieve. I then work closely with them and their parents/guardians to ensure that we cover the necessary areas, but also that they are gaining from the tutoring.
I firmly believe in having fun whilst you learn, and will often incorporate games into tuition where possible to ensure that the pupil always gives their full attention. I believe that this will help them to learn and retain more.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings and weekends. Can arrange a set day and time or can book the next session after each session.

Experience: I first began tutoring in April 2005, working for a large tutoring company until July 2009 when I became a private tutor. I have since tutored many pupils, mainly in Primary school Maths and Secondary History. I have worked with pupils on both a short term and long term basis, some choosing to have tuition only when required, others on a weekly basis.
