I am currently reading History at Durham University, and am now well into my first year. Having left school relatively recently without a gap year, my knowledge of Mathematics is still fresh in my head, and I would be more than happy to tutor it at GCSE standard. However, History and English Literature would be my preferred subjects, as I am still currently studying them as part of my degree.
I have often found, at both school and at work, that my calm approach to topics that can seem daunting has been of great help to those who need it, and I can see myself being able to apply this once again to younger people struggling with subjects that I enjoy to learn and teach.
Availability: I am available anytime this academic this year to provide at least online tutoring.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: As a school monitor at my school during my time at sixth form, I spent roughly 5 hours a week for 2 academic years as a classroom assistant for students up to the age of 14 in my school. I have also worked at my schools holiday courses, helping out with various activities. I believe this gives me plenty of experience regarding working with younger people with academic work.
