I am currently studying for A levels in Spanish, Maths, English Literature and Philosophy and Ethics at Bishop Wordsworth's School. My approach is to engage fully with the individual needs of the student and cater the lessons to focus on the areas they struggle in. Also I understand that practice makes perfect and when it comes to exams this means practising lots of exam-type questions and getting to grips with what the examiners are looking for.
Availability: Most weekday evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Although having tutored only on a voluntary basis, the experience of recently going through the system has equipped me with expertise that cannot be taught through teaching or books. I understand what modern examiners look for, having succeeded myself in recent public examinations, which is an invaluable tool that will allow my students to do well, as I know what is needed!
