Hi, my name`s Joe, I`m 21 and I`m currently a second year Human Biosciences student at Plymouth University. I specialise in Science, particularly biology and chemistry, and I`m available for tutoring students at KS3, GCSE and A level standards. I`m also a competent mathematician and can offer maths tuition to GCSE level.

I`m a very easy-going yet innovative person, happy to engage and comfortable with working with anyone regardless of age or background.

I like to think I`m active and outgoing, enjoying the simple things in life. I surf regularly, and I`m currently a committee member for the University Windriders society.

Experience: I have good experience of working in a teaching environment. Most recently I completed a 4 week placement in a secondary school as part of the Student Associates scheme where I assisted teaching in the science department.
I have good experience of working with young people. I was part of the GISA team at college which acted as an outreach program encouraging widening particiaption for further education after school.
My sporting background has also enabled me to participate in, and organise interschool cricket and football tournaments through the GISA program.
The past few summers i have worked as a Site Wide Live Team member at the Eden Project, encouraging people of all ages to revert back to their roots and engage in outdoor play and survival, offering activities such as den building, water play, rock climbing and circus skills.
