Maths (gcse, adult-learner, a-level)
gcse level: £15 per hourI am passionate about Mathematics and problem solving and I still love to learn myself. I am currently working in Software Engineering which I very much enjoy, but I'm finding it too hard to leave Maths behind and I think tutoring would be the perfect solution.
Although I do not have any formal teaching experience, I helped my sister during her A-levels and degree in Mathematics, which was very successful. I know from that experience that I really enjoy helping others to learn, and that I can often explain things in a way that develops actual understanding of the underlying concepts.
Availability: Monday-Friday from about 6:30pm if the student lives locally (I do not drive);
Saturday-Sunday all day.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: No formal experience. I have helped my sister through her Mathematics A-levels and Degree though.
Qualifications: 6A*s (inc. Maths) and 3As at GCSE;
3As (Maths, Further Maths and Physics) at A-level;
Degree in Maths from the University of Warwick.
