I was a secondary school teacher in Winchester for 31 years and loved every minute of it! I have recently finished working for myself as a consultant in the City of London. I am now taking on occasional supply work throughout Hampshire
I regard myself as a successful teacher who has an excellent relationship with all students who I have taught.
I have worked extensively on developing a range of teaching and learning styles and skills and am confident that I can engage with children and young people easily and instantly.
I am a passionate guitar player and performer(!) enjoying a wide range of music. I can talk for England about football, rugby and cricket.

Experience: I have a teaching career of 31 years: teaching History Sociology English. I managed personal Social and health Education for 12 years and was a Head of Year for 15 years. I can offer tutorial support for GCSE History and Sociology and for general English improvement skills. I can also offer support and guidance for revision skills and technique, examination preparation, time management, basic literacy and numeracy improvement.
I can also offer support in drugs awareness, sexual health education and risk management for parents and children or both.
I have run Parent Support groups, given presentations on Drugs Awareness and Sexual Health Education and have materials published on Drugs Awareness teaching.
