gcse level: £20 per hourI am a committed, friendly and reliable English tutor. I have worked in colleges and prisons for the last sixteen years. I have also improved grades for GCSE and A level students, who have come to me through personal recommendation. I like to work in a down to earth and friendly, but hardworking, style, supporting my learner as well as giving them room for challenges, thoughts and reflections of their own.
The best part of the tutoring role for me is the day those results come in and hard work is rewarded.
Availability: Every week day except Friday

Experience: I have worked in the post-16 education sector for some sixteen years. I have taughts GCSE, A level, Key Skills, and SEN English. I have taught Creative Writing, which was really rewarding.
Qualifications: I have a degree in English from the University of Westminster. I have a Certificate in Education for the post-16 sector, which qualifies me to teach, and am a member of the Institute for Learning.
