Biology (gcse, degree, adult-learner, a-level)
I completed a biological science bachelors degree at the University of Oxford with first class honours in 2008 and am currently studying for a DPhil in Plant Sciences. I have a real passion for biology and take pleasure from learning about it as well as discussing it with others and carrying out research projects (I have worked on projects ranging from plant developmental genetics in the lab, to forest ecology in Indonesia to baboon behaviour on the edge of the Namib desert). I enjoy teaching and working with young people and I have a successful record as a tutor.
Availability: Weekday evenings, weekends

Experience: I have previously worked with a number of tutees of mixed ages and abilities, helping them with courses ranging from GCSE science to university access courses. I have always received very positive feedback from those that I have worked with. I have also taught forest ecology to groups of British six form students on expeditions to Indonesia and I spent a highly rewarding 3 months teaching multiple subjects in a Ghanaian primary school during a gap year.
