 History (gcse, a-level)

I am fully qualified, full-time History Teacher, having graduated from the prestigious Teach First programme. I have taught for two years in a comprehensive school and am now employed in a North London private school, which is a member of the Eton Group. My main subject is History but I also teach Geography and RE.

I graduated with a 1st from Edinburgh University and have top grades at both A level and GCSE (see qualifications below).

Availability: Evenings and weekends

Willing to travel: 12 miles

Experience: I am an examiner for Edexcel A level and have experience of teaching Edexcel, OCR and AQA. I have been a key stage three and key stage 5 co-ordinator, designing the programme of study from scratch. I have a solid understanding of what is required to succeed at examinations. I also have tutoring experience in History and English dating back from 2005. All my qualifications and experiences in a variety of settings have given me the knowledge and expertise to help every child reach their potential.
