My name is Jennifer. I am a 21-year-old Medical Student living quite close to the centre of Brighton, East Sussex. I have always had a passion for learning, and with recent experimentation with our peer-to-peer teaching sessions at university, have found that I really enjoy tutoring and sharing knowledge.

Because of my degree I have an excellent knowledge of human biology, however I am also very familiar with other areas of biological sciences. I've also always had an enthusiasm for English Literature.
Here are my qualifications:

A-LEVEL
English Lit - A (I achieved 95% overall for my entire A-Level)
Biology - A
Maths - A
Chemistry - B

My main areas of interest and expertise are English Literature and Biology. I would be very keen to teach up to A-Level in either (or both!) subjects. If the tutee is also doing either Maths or Chemistry then I may be able to lend a hand, at the end of sessions for example, but it's been a while so I'm not confident teaching them anymore (in fact I needed tutoring in Chemistry to get that grade at all!).

NB: I am familiar with English Literature but NOT English Language and cannot tutor in this subject.

Just so you know a bit more about me, I am a 3rd Year currently and interested in Paediatrics. Outside of university I enjoy kickboxing, in which I am a green belt, playing video games, long-distance running and curling up with a good book.

Availability: Evenings and Weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have no formal training in teaching. I am familiar with the tutoring system and have found a set-up which I consider most comfortable for the tutor and the student when I was being tutored myself. I am also a keen participant in our peer-to-peer teaching scheme at uni which works very well.
