I am a 24 yr old female currently training as a Chartered Accountant at a mid size firm accountancy firm in Preston. I previously studied an MSc in Finance and Management at university in Loughborough and prior to that I studied History at Liverpool University for 3 years achieving a 2:1.
My specialist areas include Early Modern history, in particular Tudor and Medievel history but I have a thorough understanding of Modern (post 1871) history.
Having completed an MSc in Finance I also have a clear understanding of Corporate Finance topics and a wider knowledge of Marketing, HR and Accounting principles.

Availability: Weekday evenings and Weekends

Experience: New to tutoring but I currently volunteer as an Explorer Scout Leader running a unit for 13-18 yrs old in Longridge. I have an awareness of the time pressures that young people face, trying to fit school work in as well as having fun!!
Whilst studying at university, I was involved with offering tutoring assistance to overseas students who required help with their English language and grammar.

I feel that learning should be a fun experience carried out in an stress free, low pressure environment. By establishing realistic goals for each session I want tutees to learn in a structured programme of tutoring whilst enabling them to enjoy their learning experience.
