My name is Jessica and I intend to become a teacher.
I have just completed my degree in history, specialising in Modern European Political and Social History. As a result, I am able to tutor those studying for GCSE or A Level history covering themes such as Germany and/or Italy since Unification, the Cold War, the Second World War, European dictatorships, the Soviet Union or any themes regarding the origins and/or implementation and/or aftermath of the Great War. I also studied some American modules for my degree so would be able to tutor any courses regarding race relations, the FBI or the American South. I may be able to tutor specific topics upon request.

I can also tutor GCSE English. It is important to note that as the English curriculum is so broad, it may be necessary to give two weeks notice before tutoring can commence so that I can acquaint myself with the specific materials. There is a lot of freedom with regard to the novel and play choices that teachers can choose from. If help is required more specifically for the poetry aspect or English Language exam, this is not necessary.

I can tutor primary and key stage 3 English, Maths and Science.

I charge £20 per session of one hour, which includes all marked work and proofreading. If only one hour is booked I also charge the fare to get to your location (not the time spent travelling). I charge less for groups sessions, up to a maximum of five students.
