Jamie was born and raised in Bolton. He has trained since the age of 12 as a singer, undergoing graded singing exams and is now qualified to Grade 8 (Trinity Guildhall, London) enabling him to teach singing. He has performed in numerous concerts, amateur theatre productions and works as freelance performing arts teacher and vocal teacher to private students and groups. Currently, Jamie is studying Musical Theatre at The Arden School of Theatre, A prestigious Theatre school based in the heart of Manchester.

Singing Lessons with Jamie

Your singing lessons will be unique to you and will be constructed around your abilities and your goals. Some students wish to learn how to sing for pleasure whilst some have a particular reason in mind. Jamie can tailor his lessons to suit your requirements, whether it be singing exam preparation, drama school / university audition preparation or developing technique for gigs and performance. Lessons can revolve around songs and developing performance techniques and understanding or they can focus on the theory and physiology of the voice… or a mixture of both… whatever suits you!!!

Jamie can cater for all styles of singing from classical to pop to musical theatre as he has had a wide experience of all styles.
