At present I am teaching Science and Physics at a very successful co-educational comprehensive school in South Wales. I am a friendly and patient teacher with a passion for passing on my love of Physics to others.

My initial tutoring session concentrates on where the student is in their learning and what they need to do to improve. Then on, lessons are based around discussions, demonstrations and exam questions, and also help with home works and assessed practical tasks / course works as required. I have a variety of methods with which to help students gain a thorough understanding of the topics to be studied. I also have a good understanding of how students should approach answering questions in order to complete examinations to a high level. Another important part of my teaching is encouraging students to ask questions no matter how silly they think they may be!

Experience: I have 6 years teaching experience, 3 years tutoring experience and I have frequently run after school sessions for my pupils who require extra small group or one-to-one help. I currently teach several Physics GCSE classes as well as two sixth form classes. All are studying under the WJEC exam board, but I am also familiar with OCR syllabi. I also teach areas of outdoor education during extra-curricular clubs at school.
