A History graduate with experience in Education and Outreach programs.
Specialise in subjects such as History, English, Religious Studies and the Humanities subject area at Primary, Key Stage 3 and GCSE levels.

Tailoring to individual needs/comprehension. Initially getting students to talk me through what they feel any weaknesses and barriers are. Talking about the subject and what they tend to like and dislike about it. Mulling over the pros and cons gives me a better understanding of ways and strategies I can utilise to help them overcome any difficulties and make the lesson and subject more comfortable.

Hand-outs to assist their work or that are applicable may be given and proof-reading and correcting any coursework or homework through tips and pointers. I usually motivate my students to practice and independently study in their own times as well, so they can build and keep progressing with a level of confidence in the required session/ subject!

Availability: Weekdays, Weekend mornings.
