Peter (Tutor)

I help people achieve the qualifications they need: whether this is a grade C at GCSE, in order to go on to an apprenticeship, or a higher grade to study A-levels and attend university. I create a programme unique to every student, which is designed around their ability and requirements. I teach all GCSE language and literature syllabuses and the A-level literature syllabuses. Students develop beyond their course; they learn skills that can be utilised throughout their lives instead of memorising key points on specific texts. All I ask from students is a commitment to hard work and personal development.

Although I do not have a CRB check at present I am actually in the application process, which takes several weeks to clear.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends any time.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I am quite young, having only completed my university degree this year. However, many of the classes were peer-mentored. I have therefore taught literary texts at an undergraduate level. Moreover, I am familiar with the GCSE and A-level syllabuses from my own student days, and so I easily relate to students' issues with regard to the course requirements.
