I am a highly qualified and very experienced tutor who has also taught English and History in a local school to a variety of ages and abilities. I pride myself on my ability to communicate in a lively, interesting and accessible way and tailor my approach to individual needs. I am keen that pupils achieve their maximum potential - at what ever level they are studying towards.

I offer a comprehensive service which includes some tuition and support by e mail, as well as the opportunity to send me work on-line for marking and comment(at no extra charge).

I have teenage children of my own and am very aware of the pressures that children and young people face when taking exams; I therefore make every effort to encourage pupils and allay their fears.

I have also tutored Adult learners with no previous formal qualifications as well as Degree Students. In addition, I have assisted adult actors requiring coaching to perform Shakespearean roles.
