I provide private tuition in maths up to GCSE level and in physics all the way up to A2 level. I can travel to your house for tutorials in Alnwick and Amble and the surrounding area. I love learning. Using this, and my knowledge of and enthusiasm for the subjects I teach, my students learn more than just how to pass exams. They gain a genuine understanding and appreciation for the subject that will help them in life beyond their exams, whether or not they go on to further study of their subject. I have a friendly and relaxed attitude and assess student's needs individually to give them the teaching they need to allow them to best fulfil their learning potential. This approach makes exams less daunting a prospect and one more likely to yield the best results.

Experience: At the end of 2009 I took the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector qualification which involves teaching practice and since then I have been teaching in a GCSE maths evening class for adults.

Qualifications: I have a first class masters degree in electronic engineering from Cambridge University. I hold the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector qualification.
