I am a fully qualified and experienced Modern Languages teacher and examiner working in a prestigious local school teaching pupils aged 11 to 16 (with DBS clearance). I teach French, Spanish and Italian, and have an excellent knowledge of a range of exam requirements from the various examining bodies such as Aqa,Edexcel and iGCSE (and am an examiner myself). I have over 10 years success tutoring private students to achieve great outcomes.

I graduated from Oxford University with a MA Hons degree in Modern Languages. I love sharing my passion for languages with people of any age who want to develop their skills and understanding, be it for pleasure or specifically aimed at exams such as GCSEs or AS and A levels.

From the very first session I constantly assess each individual pupil`s skills, needs and learning styles to formulate a completely specific and flexible learning plan. Experience has proved this gets the best result, along with being the most enjoyable!

I can cater for a range of needs in the Spanish, French, and Italian languages including reading, writing, listening, conversation or specific vocabulary areas (e.g. for going on holidays).

The study of literature formed a strong part of my course and so I can also offer tuition in literature from a range of periods in French and Italian along with English literature.

I also have first-hand experience with the university process and so can offer advice and tuition on UCAS applications etc.
