I hoping to go on to do a MA in Literary Studies at Lancaster University as I love my own personal studying and development as well as teaching, which i find very rewarding. I graduated as a teacher in 2010 and work as a Teacher of English and Media Studies. Before this I graduated from University of Cumbria with an English BA (hons.

Availability: I am extremely flexible and am available weekdays and weekends.

Experience: I am a qualified English Teacher and have experience of working with 11-18 year olds. I have experience of a range of students from stretching gifted and talented students to helping special needs students. I have experience of various mentoring and monitoring and am adaptable to what works best for the individual. I also have worked with a number of different syllabuses and therefore am able to assist and compliment with school work where required, for example GCSE controlled assessments and exams.

I also have done some counselling with adolescent courses so I often help my students with my counselling skills working out any barriers to learning and giving them confidence where needed.

Qualifications: English, Drama and Media Studies PGCE with QTS from University of Cumbria.
English BA (hons) 2.1 from University of Cumbria.
English Literature and Home Economics A Level and Health and Social Care AVCE.
