I am currently a medical student in my fourth year at University College London. I have a BSc Honours in Orthopaedic Science. Through both these courses I have gained an extensive knowledge of physiology, clinical science and pharmacology. Having taken chemistry and biology A level I would be able to help any one this age or younger with their studies of science. I also did French A level, Critical Thinking AEA and English Language and Literature As. English Literature was a particular strength of mine, only having given it up to pursue a medical career; this is reflected in the fact that I got full marks in my English Literature As Level Literature paper.
Availability: I am Available to teach from the 1st August.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I have taken part in Peer Assisted Learning, teaching younger years in our medical school. Whilst at school I helped on our School newspaper, encouraging younger students to write articles and helping them correct and further their work.
Last summer I spent a few weeks tutoring English to 11 and 12 year old children in Guatemala, it was a very rewarding experience.
I have also spent time coaching sports teams, particularly netball and rounders.
