Experienced in tutoring beginners, struggling improvers as well as those at higher levels, I tutor up to A level standard in English Literature, Art History, German and French. I am a graduate of The University of Manchester with a BA(hons)in History of Art and French. I received a 1st for French with specialisms in Translation, Cinema and Literature. Having lived in Paris for a year, studying at The Sorbonne I am a fluent French speaker. I studied German for a year at Oxford University after A level and also offer German tuition, specialising in Literature. I can help with vocabulary, grammatical accuracy and pronunciation as well as offering more complex phrases to help you get the top grades.


As well as academic tuition, I can offer extra-curricular music lessons. I am a semi-professional musician in my free time and an experienced performer, singer-songwriter and violin tutor.

Experience: I have tutored privately since the age of 17. I worked in a music school between 2006-7 tutoring music theory and violin. I helped in a French Junior School over a number of weeks during my french studies and have worked voluntarily as a teaching assistant in both a comprehensive and primary school.
