Sociology (gcse, a-level)
Available for KS1 through to A Level Sessions. I am currently training as a Secondary teacher at Manchester Met Uni.
I graduated from the University of Kent in July 2010 with an upper second class degree (2.1) in Sociology & Social Policy BA Hons.
I have been working as a Teaching Assistant at a London Primary School. I supported the lowest ability students in English and Maths in Key Stage Two.
I am a patient and friendly tutor who will allow students to work at their own pace. I believe organisation is key to success and would encourage students to organise their time well as it is a key skill in education and a life skill.
I would cater each students tutoring to their specific exam boards and modules. Unfortunately our education system is tailored to exams and doing well is vitally important, as such resources will include past exam papers and practice. However, my passion for social science will hopefully make sessions enjoyable.
Availability: Available weekday evenings, school holidays and some weekends.
