Barry holds an HNC in Microbiology, a BSc in Environmental Biology and an MSc in Environmental Technology. He is studying for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Somerset College, and holds a current Enhanced CRB certificate.

Barry is a Member of the Institution for Environmental Sciences and an Affiliate of the Institute for Learning. He has been a practicing scientist all his life, and his main living is as a freelance environmental consultant and trainer, trading as Green Brain Associates.

Barry teaches A level General and Human Biology, most recently on the Access to Science courses at Weston College and for Somerset Skills and
Learning at Frome College. He now offers evening or weekend private top-up tuition in A level Biology and GCSE Science and Maths to students in the Taunton area.

Availability: Mostly evenings and weekends, possibly some weekday availabilty subject to negotiation. I`m in Taunton TA1.

Students more than 5 miles from base but up to about 15 miles are also accepted but will be charged travel costs.
