I graduated in July and have been a teaching assistant in a primary school since October 2009. I am starting a PGCE in primary education in September as this is the career path I wish to follow. As a result I have had to farmiliarise myself with all subjects of the national curriculum
I really enjoy working with primary aged children and am very enthusiastic. I am also adaptable and constantly teaching myself new aspects of the curriculum in order to keep up to date with current educational issues.
I specifically enjoy teaching maths, but am able to turn my hand to any of the subjects currently on the national curriculum as I have first hand experience of them in a classroom setting.

Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Prior to becoming a teaching assistant, I was a volunteer at the primary school in which I currently work. I have worked primarily in year 6 on a one to one basis and have a sound knowledge of the curriculum and SAT's questions. I also sat the 11+ exam myself aged 10 (from which I obtained a place at Tiffin Girl's School, Kingston) and so I have experience of these exams and a sound grasp of verbal and non verbal reasoning.
Qualifications: I have a degree in Archaeology from the University of Bristol at a 2:1 level.
I also have A levels in Business Studies (A) Philosophy (B) and Classical Civilisation (B).
I have nine Grade A-B GCSE's including English Literature (A), Science (A,A) and Maths (A).
