I am a teacher ( and Cambridge graduate ) with over thirty years experience of classroom teaching, moderating, marking and setting public examinations. Over the last ten years I have enjoyed tutoring a large number of students on a one-to-one basis, from Junior school years to college undergraduates. My specialisation is English, but I also teach; Maths and History to GCSE level and have extensive experience of Junior School tuition and school entrance examinations.
Whether for a 'quick fix' towards examination entry or a longer term building of confidence, it has been a real pleasure to have assisted the progress of many students.
I have been told that my approach is bubbly and friendly, but with some great academic results! I have also had some enviable success in coaching towards local selective school entry.
