I am a 21 year old graduate from Portsmouth university with a degree in English literature and language. I started working at a comprehensive school straight from university and I am currently working in the position of a cover supervisor. I will also be starting a GTP in English and Media in September. Working in the school means that I have a great understanding of the curriculum, expectations and standards; particularly in the area of Media. I have my own class of A-level film students, who are working from the WJEC specification and I also work closely with years 10 and 11. Therefore, I also have a good understanding of the AQA media specification. Working within the area of English, I also have a good undertanding of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.

Availability: I am available all evenings during the week (Monday to Friday) from 5-8.

Experience: I have been working in my job for 6 months and have gained alot of experience within that time. I have done some intervention with the year 11 students with their coursework and have also worked within most areas of the school. Working within a comprehensive has meant that I have had experience with children of mixed ability.
