I am an 20 year old Student, studying Occupational Therapy at the University of Northampton. I have 13 GCSES A-C and 5 A and AS Levels in Biology, English Literature, Psychology, Chemistry and ICT.

Experience: In school i have taken part in a tutoring scheme which allows older pupils of the school to lend a helping hand to the younger students. In school also I participate in activities such as paired reading, mentoring and being a senior prefect. These tasks allow me to be role model and guide for the younger students. They allow me to interact with them, helping to keep on the right path and keep a positive outlook on school.
Being a student myself and being the age that i am i feel that this will benefit me greatly in interacting with primary school children. Not long ago i was in the same position they were and feel i may have alot more patience and empathy towards them than someone who perhaps was alot older than myself. I feel approaching the childs difficulty in a fun way can help not just over come the problem but also find a love and enjoyment in the subject.
