Definition of an ideal teacher - "Teaching is all about remebering the curriculum and imparting them to the students without taking interest in it" - Dunny (From fifth business). My response to the Quote : Am i good teacher ? There are lots of factors, which determine the answer to this question, and one of the most important aspects of being a good teacher is, I believe, the teaching strategy of a teacher. I think that teachers play a very important role in molding the career of a student emotionally, technically and intellectually. A good teacher is a person who works with a single powerful goal in mind: working for the best interests of all the students, which help them, succeed socially and academically. I certainly don't agree with the statement made by Dunny that a good teacher is just about knowing the curriculum and forcing the stuff on the students.
Hello, my name is Kathrin and along with my two other friends, we run what we call the 'Friends Tuition Center (FTC !)'. We teach and mentor students providing them with personal attention they need to overcome thier weak areas. Among three of us, we cover Maths, French, Computer Science, Physics & English.
Varun (age -26) - A bright Indian boy teaches more technical subjects like Maths & Physics. His charm and a fantastic approach towards making the most complicated problems look like cakewalk makes him an excellent teacher and a great friend of his pupils.
Kriti (age- 27) - A pretty Mauritian girl who speaks beautiful french and works in the hi tech industry of computer sciences dealing with complicated softwares and IT security issues. Her polite nature and in depth knowledge of her subjects make her students go wow!
Kathrin (age -27) - And finally myself, I run this initiative. My goal is to make students feel absolutely comfortable and have fun while studying.
