I am an experienced Mathematics tutor (with degree), living in North London - a short walk from Holloway Road station. I currently work for an Engineering firm in central London, however would like to start tutoring again evenings and/or weekends.


My Education:

At School I studied Mathematics (Grade A), Further Mathematics (Grade A) and Physics (Grade B) A Levels. I completed in 2008 my degree at St Andrews University in Scotland in Mathematics (BSc) and was awarded a Upper Second Class grade. I also completed a Masters in Project and Enterprise Management at UCL in 2009.


My Tuition Approach:

I approach every student dependent on their needs. If there is a specific area or topic they struggle with I can focus on that area. Or if more general understanding is needed I will develop a timetable to work through areas in preparation for exams or for general understanding. Ideally I like to build up a relationship with the student and often leave work to be completed between tutoring so I can analyse the progress being made and alter the programme if necessary.

Availability: Monday - Thursday: After 7pm

All day Saturday/Sunday.

Weekend preferred.

Experience: Throughout school I was involved with Mathematics tuition for the younger years. This involved helping students who struggled with homework and also preparing them for exams. During university I also tutored 3 children in Mathematics and Science whist baby-sitting.

In 2009, I tutored 3 students in London during their GCSEs and increased their grades by at least one point each. References are available on request.
