My name is Sarka and I live in Bedfordshire. I have always been passionate about languages, first learning them, and later teaching them as well.

I hold the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) awarded by Cambridge University.

I also have a Master's degree in Italian language and in Translating & Interpreting (English - Czech). I received Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) in 2006.

My native language is Czech, I am fluent in English, Italian and Slovak (passive), and I have a conversational knowledge of French.

I have 6 years experience of teaching English as a foreign language, and I have also taught Italian. In my career I have taught many different people of different abilities. I specialise in teaching adults and young adults.

All my students are extremely important to me and I strive to tailor my courses to their needs. My aim is for my students to leave every lesson with some new knowledge, and with a smile on their face.
