I am a very experienced, enthusiastic English and Drama teacher who has only recently left full time teaching in Secondary School to develop a career as a tutor.

I've tutored private students for a number of years now and really enjoy the positive working relationships and rapid progress fostered by one-to-one tuition.

I am a positive, encouraging and sympathetic teacher, but I also understand the need for excellent results, especially when preparing for examinations or university entrance.

I see all students as unique individuals. After a full consultation with the student and parent, I will devise a learning plan to suit their needs and will review progress at regular intervals.

Availability: I am available weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have been teaching in schools for 15 years - both the private and state sectors, at home and overseas. I am fully up to date with examination board requirements as well as all National Curriculum developments. I have taught from Year 6 to university level.

I have also privately tutored many students over the past 15 years.

In Beijing, China, I taught English as a second language to university students.
