Emily (Tutor)

I am a recent maths graduate working at a local school within the special needs department and have now been tutoring for nearly 3yrs.

I will help all students with their revision, as well as clarifying any topics they did not understand in class or have forgotten. I use a text book to help with practising examples and will be able to provide past exam papers to work through together as well as mark any work students have done individually.

I will also teach exam technique, and revision tips that have never failed me in the past.

I have an enhanced CRB check as I am currently working at a secondary school as a Learning Support Assistant.
I do not currently have space to tutor at home so will come to you.

Availability: I am available in the evenings from 4.30-8, and, as I work at a school I am available all through the holidays. I currently have a few students so you will have to contact me for my current availability.

Experience: I have been tutoring GCSE students for 3 yrs and have seen some very positive results. I am currently working as a Learning Support Assistant, helping struggling students within a classroom environment overcome the problems that they face in learning. I also did some work involving teaching a couple of classes whilst I was at university.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Royal Holloway University of London
