Ein (Tutor)

I am an enthusiastic, newly appointed English teacher who has a lot to offer in terms of practical information and strategies dealing with exam preparation and coursework. I am efficient and organised, both in my creation of resources and marking, and always ensure to provide feedback that will ensure pupil progress. I am very patient and able to work with individuals of all abilities.
I view this as an exciting opportunity to share my ideas with young people who are particularly interested in the study of literature and language and would welcome the opportunity to work with a student in order to help them achieve the target and grade they wish to obtain.

Availability: Available Monday to Friday after 4:30 pm (depending on distance travelling) and all day Saturday.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I am now in my second year of teaching. I have had experience of all levels of the Scottish curriculum, including Curriculum for Excellence, Standard Grade, Intermediate 1 and 2 and Higher.

Throughout my teaching career I have offered Supported Study for pupils sitting their Standard Grade Examinations and those completing the Intermediate 2 course. I have also been a mentor for S1 pupils.

Qualifications: BSc Hons in English and Modern History, Queens Univeristy Belfast
