I am a friendly, patient tutor from Wolverhampton. I teach one-on-one lessons in Academic Essay Writing, English, 11+ Entrance Exams, German and Japanese in Wombourne and Wolverhampton.

My aim is to improve your confidence, self-esteem and competency in any or all of these subjects. Once you have identified and focused on your problem areas you can then overcome them and approach your studies more positively, ultimately resulting in your success!

Learning should always be stimulating and fun. When you're having fun, you feel better about what you're studying and approach it with a more positive attitude, and that makes a lot of difference. Finding something difficult or challenging doesn't have to be a bad thing! Remember, there is always a way around problems with your studies. Most of all, learning should be rewarding - my approach to tutoring is to find the best method of learning for you as an individual, and then make it as rewarding an experience for you as possible. It's all about what works for you!

Availability: I am available most weekdays and can do Saturdays if necessary. Contact me with your preferred times and I will check my availability.

Experience: I have studied these subjects in depth and graduated from Wolverhampton Girls' High School with a high A in each. I have also taught these subjects as part of a peer-mentoring programme and tutored students from other schools in Wolverhampton. Being at a specialist language college, I had the opportunity to teach Japanese to primary school students as part of a summer school scheme. I am also qualified to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL).

I currently teach an evening class in Japanese at Wolverhampton Adult Education Service, alongside my private tuition, and hold a City & Guilds PTLLS qualification.
