Maths (primary, ks3, gcse)
I am an enthusiastic student with a passion for teaching. I'm currently in the third year of my course at the University of Liverpool, studying Chemistry.
Availability: Most weekday evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I am a scout leader and have worked with children for six years.
At University, I took part in the University buddy scheme, which gave me the opportunity to work with students more my own age.
I have had one adult tutee, whom I taught organic chemistry and am an accredited DebateMate mentor, working with children between the ages of 11 and 14, teaching them debating at Manchester Creative and Media Academy in Manchester.
Qualifications: I averaged over 85% in my second year exams and I currently work in industry on a placement year at Astra Zeneca.
For excellent achievement at A-level (3 As in Chemistry, Philosophy, and Mathematics) and continued high grades at University, I was awarded the Sir Henry Wade Deacon scholarship.
