gcse level: £22 per hour History (ks3, gcse, a-level)
I have taught History for 12 years up to A level and have been an examiner for GCSE. I have also taught on a GCSE/A level revision course at Easter for six years. Most students have some knowledge of historical facts but lack some of the skills to answer exam questions particularly on sources and write a history essay. Other students lack confidence and need to be encouraged. I concentrate in my lessons on improving academic skills but if knowledge is lacking I will aim to help them increase their knowledge through setting of appropriate tasks and assessment. I am available every day except on Sunday. The lessons will take place at the student's place. The fee is around £20, according to the level.
