I completed my Higher Education in the UK with good grades which earned me a fuill scholarship to study in the U.S.

I graduated with a BA. Hons in Comparative Literature from a Liberal Arts University in the U.S which also rigorously trained me in Philosophy, Mathematics and Critical Theory/Thinking. I went on to complete an MA in Classical Philosophy and have been tutoring privately since the completion of my formal studies in 2008.

I am a confident and enthusiastic learner with a desire to share this enthusiasm with students in the UK.

I prefer to work directly with a student's assignment, question or problem. Rather than providing answers or merely correcting errors, I hope to encourage original thinking and provide problem solving solutions to empower the learner to achieve her/his greater potential.
Through engaging directly with the learner's abilities as a thinker/writer I am able to point out possible ways forward, encourage or nurture ideas and help them develop their work further.

Experience: I have tutored in Maths and English throughout my undergraduate and post-graduate training and I mentored students in essay writing skills and taught TESOL in Japan.

Since returning to the UK I have privately tutored many young adults and adult learners in English, Maths and Essay Writing Skills.

I have been successful in improving many student's grades through one-to-one and group tutoring sessions, and moreover have encouraged an increased enthusiasm for the joys of studying in all of my tutoring assignments.
