I am a graduate in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford (2011, 2:1, average 67). I received a distinction in my first-year examinations and was awarded a college scholarship.
My approach to tutoring is very student-centred; I tailor my style and approach to the individual student's needs, goals and abilities. I have experience teaching English Literature and academic writing up to degree foundation level. I am highly organised, efficient and conscientious.
I can teach English Language, English Literature, History, Philosophy and Critical Thinking to a high standard. I am also happy to prepare students for university/Oxbridge entry.
I offer a half-price introductory lesson.
I am a friendly and conscientious person. Outside of work I enjoy reading, writing, film, art, music and sports, especially football. I have forthcoming and published poetry in various literary journals.
Availability: All evenings, most weekends, may be available weekdays.
