I am a 26 year old Warwick University graduate.

I did my A levels in French, German, Psychology and English literature at a Grammar School.

I then got a 2:1 in French and German studies at the University of Warwick, which also includes a lot of essay writing and analysis of books, These are skills needed for english too.

I am experienced in teaching and I love tutoring and I`d be happy to help.

Qualifications:

GCSE - 13A/A*. A* in French and German as well as short course ICT. A in English Literature and Maths.
AS Level - A in French, German and Psychology. B in English Literature
A Level - A in French, German and Psychology

Approach:

I am patient and I engage with the student so that the lesson is both fun and effective.

I tailor the lesson to what the student needs help with.

I will also keep the parent informed of their child`s progress.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends. Tutoring online only.

Experience: I am experienced in tutoring as I have been tutoring for 10 years. I am also TEFL qualified (Teaching English as a foreign langauge) and taught English at a secondary school in Quebec, Canada this school year.

I have tutored many students from year 7 to GCSE in Maths, English, French and German. I specialise in French and German and have tutored more in these two subjects but I also offer English and Maths tuition.

For example, I have tutored a boy in Maths, English and Verbal Reasoning for the 11+ for two hours a week for a year. He then passed the 11+ and got into a Grammar School. I have also tutored English up until GCSE.

I was a German prefect at my school, and part of this involved mentoring GCSE students who are behind in German.

I have French family so I am almost fluent in French.

I have helped children abroad to learn English in a primary school, both in France and Germany for a month. I have also taught English as a foreign language in Canada (French speaking Canada), worked in France for a few months and lived in Germany for 10 months.
