I am an enthusiastic and very approachable post graduate with a passion for History and English.

As you can see from my qualifications I am an Arts and Humanities student at heart and love sharing this knowledge with others.

I am happy to tutor English (or History for older students) from KS3 right through to A-Level.

I am employed as a Careers Assistant in a Sixth Form College and have a Certificate in Careers Education & Guidance.

Experience: I have currently got 3 years tutoring experience, and have tutored students in Year 6, as well as all Secondary School Levels and Years 12 and 13.

Whilst at University I worked as a play worker for an after school and holiday Club for 2 years, as well as helping out at a local Primary school with reading sessions.

While completing my MA I also worked as a children`s bookseller and ran the children`s book club.

In my current position I give lessons and presentation to students on careers and higher education, and offer help and advice on personal statements and university applications. I am also responsible for the administration for the department.

I really enjoy working with young people and find they respond well to me. Tutoring is an opportunity to pass on the knowledge I have gained whilst studying and to help others improve their English skills.
