Available to help with A level, GCSE sociology and history and secondary level history. My rates are extremely reasonable and I am willing to negotiate over my rates of pay.

I am an enthusiastic teacher with a real passion for learning. I believe that students need to be challenged in order to learn and this is even more true of the work of the personal tutor.
I am currently helping 5 students with essay writing and revision work and have helped a number of students perform extremely well in exams.

I have worked in a number of roles since the completion of my PGCE. First teaching history and sociology and Gloucestershire College and managing the Business studies section of a BTEC National Forensic Science course. I was also responsible for managing a course of tutorials for A level History students.
I then taught history in at the College of North West London for six months before returning to Devon to begin working as a part time history teacher at Exeter College and working as a supply teacher.

Availability: I am available during evenings and weekends with some weekday times available.

Experience: I completed my PGCE three years ago and have since worked at Gloucestershire College in Cheltenham teaching history, sociology and business studies.
I was then offered the opportunity of taking a temporary role teaching history at the College of Northwest London covering maternity leave for six months before returning to my home county of Devon to work part time teaching history at Exeter College and as a supply teacher in schools around Devon covering history and a number of other subjects.

I have also recently returned from Japan where I taught English and I am currently the head of Sociology at EF International Academy in Torquay.

Qualifications: BA Hon in History from the University of Liverpool
