After graduating in July 2009 I spent a year as a Graduate Music Assistant in a music school with pupils aged 8 - 19 before becoming a Learning Support Assistant in a Junior school. I tutor both music and academic subjects privately and thoroughly enjoy one-to-one tutoring.

I`m friendly, encouraging and able to adapt teaching styles/methods to the individual pupil. I often find just helping to boost pupils confidence in tutoring sessions can help enormously in school. Happy to tutor in my or the pupils home.

Availability: Mon - Fri after 4pm, Thursday daytime and Saturday and Sunday.

Experience: One-to-one instrumental and music theory tuition with pupils aged 6 - adult.
One-to-one Academic tutoring with pupils aged 6 - 14.
Taught KS1 and KS2 whole class music.
Lead instrumental lessons with 10+ primary school pupils.
Have spent considerable time volunteering and working in primary schools, working in particular with children with special educational needs.
English as an additional language.
