I am a qualified (QTS & BEd), experienced Primary Music teacher with more than 10 years experience helping dozens of children between the ages of three and twelve realise their potential by providing a safe and stimulating learning environment. Before I began focussing my career Teaching Music, I led Literacy throughout my school & spent several years as a Class-Based Teacher, teaching Reception - Year 5. My tutoring experience has included:

oYear 2 & 6 SATs preparation

oLiteracy, Numeracy, Verbal & Non-verbal reasoning
oRelaxation, meditation, coping/life skills
osupporting children with special educational needs or those in need of some remedial work/extra support

As a certified Children's Relaxation Coach, I also incorporate important relaxation & coping/life skills into my tuition sessions - providing the children with skills to support them when taking tests, or in any other ‘stressful’ life situation. Straight Relaxation sessions are also available 1:1 or in groups - location & price would depend on number of children & location of sessions.

I prefer to tutor children in my own home, as it allows me to provide the children with a learning environment without the distractions of their home and allows me quick access to all my resources, including books, CDs and computer.

Sessions are usually 1:2, with children being grouped according to needs, age & ability as closely as possible.
