Religiousstudies (gcse, degree, a-level)
I am a bright, friendly Cambridge University student, currently in my third year studying Theology and Religious Studies.
I have achieved a First in my last two years of study, taking papers as varied as ethical themes in literature, the Holocaust in artwork, Christology, and concepts of self and salvation in Eastern thought.
Apart from formal qualifications, I am incredibly passionate about and interested in my subject, and I truly believe that the ability to convey this impression makes all the difference in written A-level examinations, and securing a place at Oxbridge.
Before my interview at Cambridge, a teacher at my sixth form very kindly offered me a one-on-one hour each week, in which we would discuss various themes, thinkers or books that might come up in my interview. From his tutoring and my own experiences writing essays and attending supervisions at Cambridge, I've learned that the greater the store of interesting and unusual information you have at your fingertips, the more fascinated and engaged you are by what you are learning, the better you are able to communicate that, both in writing and at interview.
I'm confident I can help prospective GCSE or A-Level students and prospective Oxbridge candidates realise this.
