I am a 33 year old South African / UK citizen and have recently moved to Cambridge from London. I am currently a mature student and having had much work experience in the corporate world I am looking to get out of my comfort zone, as my degree draws to a close, and begin my journey into the world of Science. I love children and have been privileged to have had much experience with them. I am currently mentoring a 16 year old boy who is in my sole care as his parents live abroad. I have had much life experience and have travelled vastly and thoroughly enjoy being able to share the knowledge I have gained along the way.

Availability: I am available from 18 May 2009. Days, Evenings and Weekends.

Experience: I am currently mentoring a 16 year old boy who is in my sole care as his parents live abroad, he is currently doing his GCSE's in ten subjects and once he has completed these I will continue to be his guardian throughout his A-levels.

I have tutored a young man for the last year in A-level Biology and he has gone on to get an A in Biology.

In 2007 I home schooled a boy of 13 in France (he is English). The subjects I taught were Biology, Geography, Chemistry and Physics. We had intensive lessons for each these subjects everyday five days a week.

I have also coached swimming and bodyboarding (surfing).

Qualifications: I will be finishing my BSc Honours in Biological Sciences in October 2009.

I have a Diploma in Criminology.
